Blue vs. White Fall Match

Alamo City RFC will be hosting its inaugural Blue vs. White Fall Match on 10 October 2009.  This event will be a match-up between the club alums (The Old Boys) and the current roster, to determine not only bragging rights, but also, serve as an opportunity for the Old Boys and current players to meet, mingle, share stories, and share a pint.  Contact for this event is Tim Guillaume who can be reached at:  859-619-3451.

Alamo City RFC Annual Charity Golf Event

Alamo City RFC is hosting its annual charity golf event at Olympia Hills Golf Club on 16 October 2009.  This years' sponsors include: Hooters Restaurant, Carali's Restaurant, Pyramid Beer, RR Toyota of San Antonio, and more.  Come join us for a day of golf and fun.  All proceeds benefit a good cause.  For more information, contact Shayne Roberson at: 210-846-4739.

7th Annual Day of the Dead Rugby Tournament

Alamo City RFC will be participating in the San Antonio Day of the Dead 15's Tournament on 24 October 2009.  The tournament has combined this year with the Southwest Texas Rugby Tournament, and proves to be the final tournament before the start of Cup Match Play, starting in November.  Contact San Antonio Rugby for more information on this event.

Alamo City RFC Halloween Social

Alamo City RFC will be hosting its annual Halloween Social, Saturday, 31 October 2009.  The Social will start at 7PM at the Rugby House on John Chapman Dr.  Costumes are mandatory, and there will be a $5 cover at the door for unlimited drinks all night.  Event POC is David Hegarty, who can be reached at: 831-521-8874.

Elf Louise Christmas Project

Alamo City RFC Winter Banquet

Alamo City RFC will be holding its annual Winter Banquet on Saturday, 16 January 2010, at Caralis Mexican Restaurant.  The night will begin at 8PM, and plates will be $20 a person.  Some proceeds will benefit the club.  Old Boys, current players, and invited guests are welcome to join.  Contact Brandon Borel with any questions you may have at:  210-722-4965.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 24th Annual "Climb for the Cure"

Alamo City RFC will be participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 24th Annual "Climb for a Cure." Andy Still Still Sucks Golf Outing

As with tradition, Alamo City RFC will be holding the annual "Andy Still Still Sucks" Golf Outing on Friday, 23 April 2010.  The tournament, named after Old Boy and current board member, Andy Still, has been a tradition in ringing in Fiesta for the club.  A venue has not yet been named, but check back periodically, as more information is to follow.

27th Annual Fiesta 7's Tournament

Alamo City RFC will be hosting its' 27th annual Fiesta 7's Tournament on Saturday, 24 April 2010, at Brooks City Park.  Registration will begin at (rugby) 9AM, and first kick-off is expected at 10AM.  This tournament has become common-place during San Antonio's annual Fiesta Week, and as such, has attracted teams from around the world, to include military branches of service.  This year proves to be a success as many clubs have already committed to the event.  More details to come as they are provided.  Event POC is Chris Medley, who can be reached at:  469-450-7558.
