Kris Newman

Biography:  Kris Newman is a Kittery, Maine native who made the move to San Antonio, Texas, quite some time ago. 

In his move, Kris came to San Antonio as a Police Officer, and now holds the rank of Captain within his precinct. 

Kris began playing rugby in 1992, and since, has had a mastery over the sport.  He is prominent at 2nd Row positions as well as the No.8 man, and is even proficient at Halfback and Centre positions.

Kris served as Club President from 2004-2007.  Though he has stepped down from the position, he continues to be a vital part of the teams success.  Additionally, Kris was inducted into the Alamo City RFC Hall of Fame in 2007.
