David Hegarty

Biography:  David Hegarty is originally from Ennis, Ireland.  Um, Hampshire, England. Err, Australia...  Ohio?  No one is sure of where exactly he calls home, actually.  David was introduced to rugby at a young age, and continued with the sport through completion of primary schooling, afterwhich, he attended THE Ohio State University, to study Engineering, where he continued with the sport.

In 2006, David was brought to San Antonio to pursue career opportunities, and initially, picked up with San Antonio RFC.  However, after meeting with several members of Alamo City RFC, he switched clubs, and has played with Alamo City since early 2008.

David is a natural Fullback-Halfback, but has had experience at the Wing and Flyhalf positions.  Currently, he fills the Halfback slot.
